New guidlines

We should make some guildlines for this blog, so I have devised a system we can all use! (bear with me here.)
1. Blog Usage
A. This blog shall only be used for book disscusion.
B. If the blog is abandoned, then make sure you suggest a new book and get other people to read it with you then post questions and stuff.
C. Always make sure to use apporpriate language.
2. Writing a Post
A. Always include a ligetiment answer for your post.
B. Make sure to reply to the comments and feel free to post your own ideas.
3. Writing a comment
A. Make sure to include an answer that makes sense.
B. Also make sure to write connections and your own ideas. Make sure to object if you want to.

The Book "Totally Joe"

Since we are talking about books here well Totally Joe is about this boy named Joe and hes gay and going out with a boy named Collin and they are dating secretly and only a few people know about it and they went to the dance together. So I am writing this to ask you that If you were Joe and your boyfriend told you to tell your dad that your gay would you or would you not joe is getting all woried i know you read this part but uhh dont di what he does be creative so would you tell him why or why not

The Advisor is back and in buissnes as I might ad! The reason why I am so excited is because-WAIT... unless it's some kid trying pull my leg on this one!!! well ill be watching and i might ad about the play thing we should review my play and Moises's at "Bashford church" on August 21st, August 22nd (my birth day), and August 23rd it's a " Mad Town Christmas" and we are doing a summer christmas yeah I know it sounds weird well thats only because i am weird and you all know that so go and review it Moises is "Paul" I'm "Errand" and I got a small part because 1: i don't go to that church 2: they needed more people 3: I have step-siblings that go to that church 4: I love to Act!!!!!!

Why are they outcasts?

Joe refers to several of his friends as outcasts. Why do you think this is? What makes this group of students outcasts?

Author's style

James Howe's writing style in this book is very informal, as though a 7th grader is just talking to you. How do you feel about this type of narration? Why do you think the author writes this way?

Assignment

Let's say a teacher told you to write about all the important things from your life, one for each letter of the alphabet. What kinds of things would you include?

banned books

Many of the books we have read so far have been banned for one reason or another. This in no way means they aren't quality books. For example, the dictionary has been banned from schools in several states. Totally Joe happens to be a book that is frequently banned. Why do you think this is? Do you think that schools, communities, and governments have the right to tell others what they can and can't read?

I love plays who doesn't it would be kind of rare for one of us 3 not to like plays and uhh i really enjoy the detail in characters and the story in it or we could talk about plays after we finished books as a little topic to talk about so if your in for this idea say hoogle-fraggle!!!!!

Our next book is going to be Bridge to Terabithia and thats final!!!!!!!!!!. VOte yes for this book and we can start. There are a few copies at the SSFP(since I got one). If you can;t find one go to the library and get one!!!!!!. Its also on our top thirty book list=)

Has ADVISOR betrayed us?

This is very weird fellow bloggers. I recently checked advisor's page and doesn't show that our blog is on her blogging list! Now, she has this Autism discussion page. Very weird. Weirder yet, That page is not open to us! WE HAVE CONQUERED THE BLOG! HURRAH!

We Need a book to read to blog about i love blogging mostly books that include kids in middle school so we can relate to it and blog about it...HERES something out of the blue we should...................READ A BOOK!!!!!!!

Next Book

Since everyone is getting tired of this book, and done, I am thinking of a good idea for the next books and how to gain publicity for this book. Let's read every book from max and andrew's ;) top thirty books starting from 30. Post what you think about this idead and flaws(I can think of 3).

Is this blogging thing really nesscisary?

Well the only people who come on here are Larry, Aliu, Saralee sometimes and coming to start Melissa. But all we do most of the time is we chat and we barley talk about the book well we do but not that much. And the adminastrators never come on and i think thats odd. So whay can't we post comments about how the bool relates to our everyday lives... STARTING...NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were Jason

If you were Jason would you want Catherine to constantly give you words that you might not enjoy so much? What words would you want Catherine to give you if you were Jason ?(just for fun)

Why?

Why do you think that Katherine wants a "normal brother," and can't accept who he is or what he does? In a way, he care for david, but could show a lot more respect? Would you respect David if he was your brother? Why or why not?

Will Kristi change her adiitude?

Do you think that kristi will be a good sister later in the book or do you think that she will still be mean push away David and wishing she had a different brother. My guess is that she changes and starts to grow on David and become his good wonderful sister.

If there is a conflict in this book, who do you think it will be between and why?

Normal?

Soooo...What's normal? It's clear that Catherine doesn't think her brother is normal. How did she, or how does anyone, decide that someone is normal?

what are Catherine's fellings about jason when she first met him?????
