Jason

What do you think the significance of Jason is in the book RULES? Why was he put in the book in the first place?

I think he is just more than just a character, but represents a emotion or a feeling. Can YOU guess what feeling I'm thinking of? It's kind-of like the Leveithian whale (AKA the Great White Whale) in Moby Dick, it represents something... maybe revenge for Ahab?

I think that Jason was put in the story to show that people with disabilities are important with society and can be friends with people that don't have disabilities

Maybe... people with disabilities have the same "power and knowledge" in the society, the past society, and forever as I see it.
