One more question...
Why do you think that there is not even a store to by art supplies in the girls' town? Is it that abandoned? If you think it is abandoned, tell em why you think the military chose that town to be a center that everyone knows about the new gadget that most everyone there already knows about?

I think there is no store there because it is abandoned, and there is not enough demand/population there for someone to supply such a thing. I think that the military chose that town because it is small, and I assume the rumor of the gadget will only stay in the town due to poor transportation and son on...
