What you meant the talking cat meant by that humans cant stay together their all over and that cats can and do you think the cat is a spy for the button mom or ally to coraline????

Nice question...I do sort of think that the cat might so be a spy because that he keeps mentioning spies, talking about spies, is obsessed with spies, spies and spies. Maybe later in the book the cat confessed that he is sort of a double agent. He might confess because he cannot keep a secret, I mean, he is always doing something related to spies.

well i wondered this myself but the mother called him a not useful thing mabe hes not a double agent lol
