The robberie and death

so arthur kills luis and erik steals why is now arthur and his father trying to blame erik for everything i know he deserves it but if there going to jail or wathever then both are there both responsible for the damages and causes they made come to them and why do you think arthur and erik decided a life for them both like this

I think that Arthur's dad couldn't bear the truth that Arthur murdered somebody. Arthur then decides that Erik could be at the majority of the fault, so Arthur thought that if he could shift the blame from himself to Erik, he might be able to walk away with a first offense or serve less jail time. I think that the reason why Erik and Arthur chose a life like this was for many reasons. 1- Erik apparently had "problems" according to the grandmother. 2- Erik and Arthur were very stupid jocks who wanted to act all bad. 3- Erik had dug himself into a hole of shame that he couldn't climb out of.

Maybe they just both want to hit rock bottom, but who wants to? It's so rock bottomy. I think part of the reason is that they are basically mean to everyone and everything...
