his vision was blured by a solar eclipse his paretns tell him but i think theres another reason hidden in the story but well know but you guys have to find out
Paul's vision was somewhat lost because back when they lived in Texas, Erik had a friend (a henchman if you will) and he did something he shouldn't have and got in trouble. Erik and his friend got mad and believe that Paul "snitched" on the friend of Erik. While Paul was hysterically screaming, Erik brought out a can of spray paint and sprayed Paul's eyes "as punishment". Paul's parents figured that it would be best to let Paul believe that he stared at a solar eclipse instead of hating his brother for the rest of his life. I believe that Paul's parents should have told Paul what happened, because a secret can only remain secret for so long, and the longer you keep it inside of you, the bigger disaster it will create when it is shared.
