The author hints at a few troubling events that occurred in Josh's life before he ended up living with Andrew. What are some things from Josh's past that might have contributed to his anger?
I thought that Josh was a boy that had either been framed by an annoying kid at his school, or the kid was still annoying, and Josh just lost his cool and beat him up. I realize that Josh's living conditions with Andrew and Miranda weren't the best, even though Miranda had a known hatred for Josh, but I am guessing he was under a lot of stress and anger from his life at home, so that might have contiributed to the possibility that he had lost his cool and beat Scott up.
I 'm pretty sure people get angry over what happened in their life, as in: this guy punched me and now I'm going to take out all my anger by punching my friend...
