I think it was interesting that every aspect of life for the Palestinians was being controlled, and yet, the cats could come and go as the pleased in the middle of everything.
And one the little one dies...the soldiers don't even notice. They just go about their business, running over things and lives.

Because they were little and they couldnt take care of themselves so karim was generous and shared some of his food some times
