What things in this book are not fair? Do you think these things could happen today?

what isn't fair in the book is that the Cassie and her friends can't ride the bus and get splash by the bus and that the books that their teacher gave them were badly torn and that inside there were 20 and athat it was reserved for all black students. That isn't fair. yes it could happen now but i don't know if people still do it because i don't see people do it all.
it isn't fair to Cassie and her friends, to get the old books and the other people get the new books. i think the teachers, thinks that the black kids would mess up the book and the white kids wouldn't.
